Photocatalisys
It is a natural phenomenon, similar to the chlorophyll photosynthesis, by which a substance, in the presence of sunlight or special UV lamps, is activated by acting as a catalyst in the oxidation process of polluting agents.
The inorganic and organic substances type of nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), etc., in contact with the surfaces treated with this active principle, are transformed into completely harmless elements with a consequent reduction of odors, viruses, bacteria and molds and with a greater aesthetic maintenance over time.
Several studies and measurements certify
that 1 m2 of active surface is able to purify 1 m3 of air in 45 seconds up to 90%, or that an active surface of 1 Km2 from the atmosphere may remove32 tons of pollutants per year.
